UGC
University Grants Commission, New Delhi, an apex higher education body of the Union Government, caters to the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education in India.

DEB
Distance Education Bureau, the open and distance learning system in India has emerged as an important mode for providing education to diverse sections of society. DEB is a bureau of University Grants Commission which governs the regulation, maintenance of standards, and according recognition in respect of Distance Education programmes conducted by institutions of higher education.

AICTE
All India Council for Technical Education is the statutory body and a national-level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development.

NAAC
The National Assessment & Accreditation Council is an autonomous body established by the UGC of India to assess and accredit institutions of higher education in the country.

AIU
Association of Indian Universities is an organization and association of major universities of India based in Delhi, to evaluate the courses, syllabi, standard and credits of foreign Universities and to equate them in relation to various courses offered by Indian Universities.

AAOU
Asian Association of Open Universities was founded in 1987 as a non-profit organization of higher learning institutions that are primarily concerned with education at a distance, namely, education in which the systematic teaching and the communication between student and teacher or institution take place mainly by a variety of media.

ACU
Association of Commonwealth Universities is the oldest and one of the largest inter-university networks in the world. ACU combines the expertise and reputation of nearly a century’s experience with new and innovative course designed to meet the needs of universities in the 21st century.

COL
The Commonwealth of Learning is an intergovernmental organization created by Commonwealth Heads of Government to encourage the development and sharing of open learning/distance education knowledge, resources and technologies. COL is helping developing nations improve access to quality education and training.

ANU
AcharyaNagarjuna University (ANU), a state university established in 1976. It is one of the front ranking and fastest expanding Universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Its aim is to remain connected academically at the forefront of all higher educational institutions. The University is being geared up to effectively avail the opportunities and face the challenge posed by globalization. In an electronic and communication era, the University stands committed to use high technology to offer technology oriented degree courses for excellence in India and abroad.

JNU
Jaipur National University (JNU), Jaipur came into existence in the year 2007. In 2008, an expert panel of UGC members accorded approval to our programmes under Clause 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The School of Distance Education and Learning was accorded approval by the Joint Committee of the UGC- AICTE- DEC for offering programmes through Distance Education mode. Besides these mandatory recognitions, the University has earned the trust and goodwill of aspiring students, parents, public and concerned agencies, based on excellence in teaching and sincere emphasis on high standards of research.

KSOU
Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) was established on 1st June 1996 vide Karnataka Govt. Notification No. ED 1 UOV 95 dated 12th February 1996 - KSOU Act 1992 is considered to be a reputed Open University amongst the open learning institutions in the country. Keeping in view the educational needs of our country, in general, the policies and programs have been geared to cater to the needy.

MSU
The courses are recognized by and are affiliated to the Manonmaniam Sundarnar University (MSU), Tamil Nadu, India. Established in 1990, the University is being geared up to effectively avail the opportunities and face the challenge posed by Globalization in the domain of technical and professional education.
